Today is Young Readers Day! May I inspire you?

We all know we should read to young children, but don’t stop after they learn to read. My fourth-grade teacher, Miss Kachura, gave us a great treasure. After lunch, she’d let us lay our heads on our desks while she read from a chapter book. I still remember them. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Charlotte’s Web, Twenty and Ten, A Wrinkle in Time, and many others that sparked imagination. For the tween years, books like The Witch of Blackbird Pond and To Kill a Mocking Bird make history exciting. They’re also great for starting conversations. 

For teens, Agents of Rivelt could be a great read-together novel. It’s a science fiction thriller in an episode format. Yes, I wrote this one, so I’m not claiming it’s a classic like the others. (Maybe someday? Hey, I can dream!) The first story, Never Blackmail a Thought Reader, is always free.
