First, a big welcome to all my new subscribers this month. If you’re new here, you may not know that I’ve just released a book, To Stream an Ocean.
Many thanks to those of you who purchased it or read it on Kindle Unlimited, and especially to those who left reviews. It’s so encouraging to me to see people enjoying the story.
What’s next?
For three years, I’ve been focused on the Arts of Substance trilogy. Finishing it feels epic to me. I always take a month off from writing after releasing a book, and that’s even more important at the end of a series. It gives me time to imagine, which may be the most important part of the whole process.
Okay, I’ll admit I couldn’t resist writing a short story last week. But other than that, I’m pondering two stories that have been lurking in the back of my mind. Both ideas are for stand-alone novels. One is science fiction related to my Diverse duology. The other would be similar to my Castle in the Wilde fantasy series. Which would you prefer? Leave a comment to let me know.
If you’re curious about those series, take a look at my Books page.
Free books:
Here’s a book promotion running in January 2026. The promo title amused me: Christian Fiction – But Not the Mushy Kind. (Yes, I know, I have a weird sense of humor.) There are a few dozen fantasy and science fiction books for you to choose from, all free. By the way, if you found my newsletter through this promo, you’re still welcome to get more books from it.
Until next time, happy reading!
