After months of writing, my latest novel is now with my editor. To Stream an Ocean should be available to you before the end of this year. I’ll tell you more in my next newsletter. In the meantime, I’m catching up on all the things I had to set aside to reach my goal.
Despite my lengthy to-do list, I took some time yesterday to savor my gardens while they hover between summer and autumn. The hydrangeas are currently stealing the show.

Do you like gardens too, or are you just here for the books?
A book I enjoyed:
What Comes of Attending the Commoners Ball
by Elisabeth Aimee Brown
This cozy fantasy kept me grinning in between all the laugh-out-loud moments. A peasant girl just wants a good meal (and cheese) but gets mixed up with two princes, one practical and the other mischievous. Zany adventures follow, no matter how hard she tries to avoid them.
This book also won the 2025 Realm Award for debut novel. A well-deserved win!
Until next time, happy reading!
