Every “no” allows a better “yes”

Rock balance sculpture beside unused rocks

Did you wonder why I skipped a newsletter? No disaster has befallen me. The balancing act of life simply didn’t have room for everything.

There’s family. And friends. There was an eclipse to see. (So worth the travel time!) There are a slew of publishing tasks to take care of. There’s a newsletter to write. My next novel, To Weave the Wind, must still be finished. On top of all that, I had to do a detailed review of the audio files for To Form a Passage. And so much more. The truth is, not a month goes by where I don’t skip some activities.

Why tell you all this? Because I’m sure you face the same challenge. Deciding what to do often includes deciding what not to do. That doesn’t mean we are failing or being lazy or any other such criticism. It just means we are making rational choices.

Upcoming news:

Maybe you caught it a couple paragraphs back. To Form a Passage is coming out as an audiobook!

Audio book: To Form A Passage

Yes, I might be just a little bit excited. I don’t have a link for it yet, but stay tuned.

Until next time, happy reading,

Sharon
